Can your penis snap during intercourse?
There's no bone in the , so it can't snap like a bone. But something called a penile fracture can happen, and it's as painful as it sounds.
A penile fracture is when the tissue inside the penis tears, usually because it gets bent forcefully while erect. It can happen during sex, most often when a penis slips out and hits against the partner's body at an awkward angle. If it happens, you'd know about it. There's usually a popping sound, immediate pain, and swelling.
It's rare though. It's not something you need to worry about during normal sex. It tends to happen when things are rough or at an unusual angle.
If it does happen, go to A&E. It needs medical treatment, and the sooner you get it looked at, the better the outcome.
