I have a boy bestfriend and I've started falling for him but have a boyfriend. What do I do?
Falling for your best friend when you're already with someone is more common than you'd think.
Figure out what's actually going on. Sometimes, when you're close to someone and spend a lot of time with them, it can feel romantic when it might just be that you really value the friendship. Other times, you know it's more than that. Only you can work out which one it is, and it might take a bit of time.
Think about your current relationship on its own too. Not compared to your best friend. Are you happy? Do you feel valued? Sometimes developing feelings for someone else is less about them and more about something missing where you are.
Whatever you decide, don't start anything with your best friend while you're still with your boyfriend. Sneaking around makes everything worse for everyone, including you. If you realise you want to be with someone else, be honest with your boyfriend first.
And be prepared that telling your best friend how you feel might change the friendship, whether or not he feels the same way. That's a real risk, and it's worth thinking about before you act on it.
